On October 28, the event “Mental Health, New Addictions, and Social Involvement” was held, organized by CEIPES ETS in collaboration with the Municipality of Palermo. The meeting was opened by City Councilor Salvatore Imperiale and Antonella Ferrara, Head of Human Resources of the Municipality of Palermo, who emphasized the importance of addressing crucial issues such as social solidarity and equal opportunities.

Dr. Concetta di Benedetto discussed conciliatory policies and corporate well-being, highlighting innovative practices for health and anti-discrimination efforts. These topics are closely linked to the objectives of the PRIORITY45 project, which aims to promote continuous learning and the improvement of transversal skills for adults over 45 through an innovative training approach.

Subsequently, the discussion focused on the transversal skills needed in Public Administration and the necessity of reskilling. The PRIORITY45 project fits perfectly into this context, offering training solutions that meet the needs of professional updating and skill improvement for adults over 45.

The event also addressed the issue of workaholism and the balance between private life and work, offering insights on how to prevent burnout and promote a more balanced life. These topics are relevant to the PRIORITY45 project, as emotional well-being and work-life balance are fundamental for those engaged in reskilling and professional updating paths.
